At any given time, there are approximately 430,000 foster youth in the U.S. with 1,200 new youth entering the system each day. 

On average, a child will move foster homes 4-6 times while in the system. Youth navigating this system can often lack a sense of normalcy or feelings that they can completely be themselves.

Most foster youth do not have many possessions or have access to typical childhood activities. Many of them carry their belongings from place to place in trash bags. Together We Rise helps foster youth gain back this piece of their childhood by providing them with resources that they can call their own.
